The Cardinals Baseball Program, as we know it today, was established in 2009 through the merger of the Wallingford Cardinals Post 187 American Legion team and the CT Cobras travel baseball organization. Together, these two traditions created a unified program focused on excellence, development, and teamwork.

We serve athletes ages 8–14 through our core travel teams, and proudly offer our Baby Bird program for aspiring ballplayers ages 4–7, introducing young athletes to the fundamentals of the game in a fun and supportive environment.

Our mission is to compete at the highest level of travel baseball while building a culture of dedication, teamwork, and character. We focus on developing exceptional athletes who are not only skilled on the field but also unselfish, hardworking, and committed to the success of the team. Win or lose, our players compete with heart, play for each other, and represent the program with pride—on and off the field.
